FAQ

What is Unitarian Universalism?

Unitarian Universalism is a unique denomination, because we have different beliefs about the nature of God. We have a set of common principles, which focus on action, not beliefs.

Is your church accessible to people in wheelchairs?

Sonora is accessible; the historic “Old School House” in Douglas Flat is as well: The ramp, facing the front door is on the right side.

What do children do during the service?

We do not currently have a program as we do not have any children attending. You are welcome to bring a child, but we do not have any nursery care at this time.

What do adults wear?

Our members wear everything from jeans and tee-shirts to their “Sunday-go-to-meeting” best. We want everyone to feel comfortable and to participate as much or as little as they want. There are no “musts” except for respect for oneself and others.
