Ministers

Rev. Craig Scott

After a ministerial search, Rev. Craig Scott was hired in 2005 and served as minister for UUFTC until he retired in 2011.  He returned as part-time minister for 2013 to assist in the search for the next minister. The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Tuolumne County awarded Rev. Scott the title of Minister Emeritus in 2011.

Rev. Scott graduated from Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley in 2004 and was also admitted into Preliminary Fellowship as a UU minister that same year. Rev. Scott advanced to Final Fellowship as a UU minister, akin to becoming a tenured college professor, marking the successful completion of a seven-year process.

Rev. Sonya Sukalski

Rev. Sonya Sukalski grew up in the mountains and desert of New Mexico, and developed a connection with nature that has fed her spirit and her explorations in life.  When Rev. Sonya learned that UUFTC meets outdoors in an oak grove as much as possible, she was sold that the good folks of Tuolumne and Calaveras counties were a match for her.

Rev. Sonya Sukalski was hired as a contract minister for UUFTC in 2014. She was installed as our called minister in 2017; she served the congregation from 2014 until 2020.
